I was born and raised in the Red Bud area. I attended Southern Illinois University, where I received my bachelor’s degree in elementary education. After college, I moved to South Carolina and taught grades ranging from 2nd to 5th for close to ten years. I married my husband, Tony, in 2005. We moved back to Red Bud in 2013. We have two daughters, Gabby and Adri. I had the pleasure of teaching resource here at St. John’s for several years before taking some time off to be with my family. I returned to St. John’s as the Resource Teacher last year and have truly enjoyed working with all my students.
