Deitt Schneider

I graduated from Concordia Teachers College in 1976,  My  first call was to St. John’s Lutheran Church in Baldwin to serve as the 5th and 6th grade teacher at Trinity Affiliated Lutheran School in Prairie.  In the seven years I was there I served as teacher, softball, volleyball and cheerleader  coach and as the interim Principal for one year.  My husband Bruce and I were the youth directors at Baldwin.

In 1983 I was called to serve as the 5th grade teacher at St. John’s Lutheran School in Red Bud.  As a teacher I coached softball, cheer-leading and helped with fund raisers for the sports teams.  In 1992 I was asked to serve as Principal and continue in this capacity.   I have taught grades 5-8 throughout my service here at St. John’s.  The school started the Preschool, Kindergarten and Daycare programs during these years.

I live with my husband Bruce on a dairy farm in rural Venedy.  We have one son Jonathan who is married to Krissy.  We are the proud grandparents of Hudson and Annley.
