I was born and raised in the Red Bud area. I attended and earned my education degree from Concordia University in River Forest, IL. I earned my masters degree in curriculum and instruction from William Woods University. After teaching 3rd grade at Trinity Lutheran School in Cape Girardeau, MO for numerous years, I gladly accepted the teaching job of teaching fifth grade at St. John’s Lutheran School. This teaching opportunity also meant moving back “home” and now am closer to family. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, arts and crafts, reading, and watching the St. Louis Cardinals.
