I grew up in the Sparta area, both of my parents are retired educators.  I did my undergraduate work at Millikin University and have a Masters in Educational Psychology from Southern Illinois University Carbondale.  I have spent over 20 years in the education field working with a variety of age groups in private & public schools, at an at-risk high school, and served as a Clinical Counselor.  I have a post Master’s certificate in School Law with a Special Education Emphasis.  I love everything about education and sharing my core Faith journey with all who will listen.  I have been married for almost 26 years to Glenn.  He runs a local custom cabinet business, and I help out with HR & payroll.  We have 2 children, who both attended St. John Lutheran School. Anna and Alan are both juniors; one a junior student athlete in HS, the other a junior at Murray State University majoring in Secondary Education: Math.  I am very blessed to serve as the Resource teacher and look forward to serving Jesus in this role.
