Greetings from Chicago were the Lord has blessed our school and students in many ways.  He first and foremost blessed all participants, their families and fans of St. John’s with safe travels.  During competition all participants were free from major injury and were blessed with the skills and composure to compete well.

St. John’s Lutheran boys basketball team fought hard in their two games but were not victorious.
St. John’s Lutheran girls basketball team battled hard in all four of their contests; loosing the first game and finishing with three consecutive wins to capture the Consolation Championship for the tournament and a new school record for number of wins at an LSA tournament.  Also Claire Grohmann was named to the all tournament team which is another first for St. John’s Lutheran School.
St. John’s Lutheran Cheer Squad put forth a very concise and clean cheer performance that allowed them to finish fourth place out of nine teams and one spot short of an LSA trophy.  They also set a school record for the highest finish by any team from St. John’s Lutheran at an LSA event.
