Congratulations to our Lady Cougars for their Consolation Championship at the Edwardsville Tournament.
The ladies weekend started off with a close loss to Trinity Springfield. However the girls rebounded from that for a win against Unity East St.Louis on Saturday morning. They followed that victory up by beating Concordia Peoria on Saturday afternoon. This set the stage for their Consolation Championship game on Sunday afternoon against Trinity Edwardsville. This hard fought battle came down to the last twenty seconds when a put back basket by Megan H. sealed the victory.
